Case Construction commanded a lot of attention at this year’s ConExpo event with innovative new product offerings and concept machines on display. Leading the way was the DL550B “Minotaur” track skid steer with the industry’s only fully-integrated quick-attach 6-way dozer blade attachment and optional full-metal undercarriage track system and rear ripper (also optional).
Sporting 115hp, operating load capacity of 5,500lbs (11,000lbs tipping capacity), and a top operating weight of 18,000lbs, the 2 Case DL550Bs on display on the show floor were the center of attention for customers attending the show.
Titan Machinery is proud to have worked with Case Construction to provide real-life testing with customers in our footprint during the testing and development of the DL550B. We expect to begin taking orders for this product later this summer.

Also in the spotlight at the Case Construction booth were the fully electric version of the famous Case 580 backhoe. During the demonstrations conducted at the Case booth, spectators were impressed with how quiet the 580EV was during operation.

This machine is powered with a battery that charges in 8 hours and provides 8 hours of operation at “normal” workloads, and reduced time frames under heavy loads. In addition to quite, efficient power, the Case 580EV eliminates the cost and hassle of normal engine maintenance including fluids, filters, and engine wear items.

Also on display were a variety of the new Case Construction B Series skid steers and compact track loaders featuring the most advanced and user-friendly touch-screen display in the industry. The new B Series skid steers and CTLs offer advanced features and controls designed to increase operator comfort and productivity. Titan Machinery is expecting to begin taking delivery of B Series skid steers before summer.
Rounding out Case Construction’s product displays at ConExpo was the Case “concept” wheel loader powered by methane.
K-Tec made a splash with the news that they have acquired Ashland Industries and their line of pull-type scrapers.

The acquisition allows K-Tec to widen their offering from the largest, hi-production scrapers to smaller, compact scrapers giving Titan’s customers access to the most complete line of efficient pull-type earthmoving scrapers in the industry.

Titan Machinery had over 45 employees from a variety of fields including sales, parts, and rentals attend this year’s ConExpo show so that we can continue to provide up-to-date construction equipment solutions to our customers.
