How It Works
Using radio signals, The Raven Cart Automation coordinates both the path and speed of your tractor during "on-the-go" operations, optimizing efficiency and reducing wait time. Once the tractor and harvester are within proximity of each other, the tractor operator engages automatic steering and propulsion for the The Raven Cart Automation to then sync your grain cart with the combine at distances up to 230 feet. Once heading and speed have been synchronized between both tractor and combine, full control of the cart operation is put back into the hands of the combine operator through the use of a customizable joystick and with the push of a few button.
Using the multifunction controller, the combine operator can nudge the grain cart forward or backward to fill the bin appropriately — no need to speed up or slow down to change sync position. Grain spillage as a result of miscommunication or imperfect manual unloading coordination is dramatically reduced. Once the cart is full, the tractor operator can steer to disengage the sync and drive to the appropriate unload point.
