Kwik-Till high-speed disks provide farmers with an effective tool for both primary and seedbed preparation tillage passes. Designed for operating at speeds of 10-17mph and soil depths from 2”-6”, Kwik-Till high-speed disks size crop residue and mix with the soil to promote quick decomposition of stalks, leaves and root balls. Kwik-Till high-speed disks utilize 20” smooth or notched disks mounted on individual shanks spaced 10” apart on each rank, providing an overall spacing of 5” for complete coverage of the soil profile. Four rubber torsion bars pre-tension the blades to provide flex in following the contours of the land and cushion for clearing obstacles such as rocks and stones. Greaseless hubs and nylon bushings increase the durability of the Kwik-Till high-speed disk while greatly reducing daily maintenance. Optional cage roller, spring roller or rubber roller finishing packages are available to create the desired field finish for the prevalent soil conditions. Ranging in working width from the 8’4” HSD800 to the 45’ HSD4500, Kwik-Till high-speed disks offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate a variety of tractor and farm sizes.
