In May of 2017, the United States Congress designated the 28th day of October, each year from then on forward, as National First Responders Day. Today, we celebrate this recognized holiday to show our endless gratitude for the time, sacrifices, and heart men and women around our nation put forth when they choose to serve on their communities' frontlines.

It’s that time of the year. Our Fall 2023 Titan Trader, Construction Edition, is soon to be in print! In this edition, our Titan Team spotlights family grown and family-owned businesses - Friest Firewood Express and Friest Tree Experts LLC out of Harrisburg, South Dakota. The Friest family business first took root back in 1974 with father and former power lineman, Doug Friest, simply collecting firewood for local families and restaurants in his spare time. Along the way, his business continued to grow, evolve, and branch out. Today, Friest Tree Experts LLC is owned and operated by his son, Alex Friest, and proudly serves power companies and communities across South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska in any and all of their tree care needs.
